Hand-thrown Stoneware Vase

A small bud vase in soft cream stoneware, hand-thrown on a wheel in a Brooklyn studio. Each one is slightly different — the glaze pools a little differently, the foot has a thumb-print, the weight sits a fraction differently in the hand. For a single stem, a sprig of dried olive, or nothing at all.
Materials
Wheel-thrown and glazed stoneware, fired to cone 6 in a small gas kiln. Each vase is one of a small batch of about twenty.
Sizing
Approximately 4" tall × 2.5" wide at the widest. Each piece varies slightly — that's the point.
Care
Hand wash. The vase is water-tight for short-stemmed flowers; for a longer stem, use a florist's tube inside. Not dishwasher safe.
